The weekend is in sight!

It seems that everytime Friday nears, it's like a big relief because I know where there's a couple of days where I get to relax and take the time I need for myself coming up! Although I am on call this weekend, I am hoping that it will be a fairly quiet one, knock on wood!

I don't have much planned for the weekend, it's been a long week or so it seems, so I am going to plan to do nothing! I am excited for tonight, I am playing hockey with a bunch of friends which will be great. Hockey to me is like self medication. I step on the ice, and I have no cares in the world, it's a safe place for me, a place to relax and do what I love the most.

Christmas is nearing, students are starting to prep for exams that may be coming faster than they know. I will be heading home the 20th, and returning on the 5th, so I have a nice break there with time to visit with and spend time with family. Christmas makes me nervous, I think mostly around the gift buying! It's a stressful time I agree, just not knowing what to get! But all in all, it always works out in the end!

Anyways, that's my rant for the day. I'm sure I'll have something more to say tomorrow!
